Rear access panel

Is there a way to rout the fresh water hose and electrical cord connections so that you can close the rear access panel? Is there a path to the bumper compartment where the sewer hookup is?

mpumphrey04 has a 1967 Safari, by the way. I've tried to help out, but my knowledge is limited to my 1971. Can anyone with a 1967 help?

Hi: I don't know if your 1967 is the same, but my 1964 19' Globe Trotter has a small rectangular trap door towards the streetside bottom that hinges down from the floor of the rear bumper storage compartment. Opening this trap door allows me to run my electrical cord and sewer hose out, and city water connection in, through the bottom while keeping the top access panel shut. Your year might be different, however.

Rear Access Panel

My 1967 Safari Has The Same Small Rectangular Door (that Is Spring Loaded) On The Street Side Bottom Of The Rear Access Panel. It Stays Closed By The Spring When Not In Use And The Power Cord And/or Hoses For Fresh Water And Sewer Hold It Open When The Access Panel Is Installed. Ed

The sewer hose drops out of the bottom of the bumper storage compartment. There is a trap door that has two speing clips that keep it in place when not in use.

I found the small spring hinged door in the rear access panel, thanks. This will certainly help keep the rats from returning and the heat from leaving.
