Basic question from a newbie

Hello--We just bought a 68 Safari last weekend. It looks pretty good, but has no owner's manual. We are trying to clean it up a bit. I thought I'd see where the gray water drained when I cleaned the tub--nothing came out. Is there a plug we need to unscrew? Where is it? Also, the black water nozzles on new rigs have a "door" inside the cap that holds waste in while we are attaching the hose. Is that the case on this? We are afraid of what might come out when we open the black cap.

I believe that the gray water drained into the black tank. Gray tanks didnt come about until several years after yours was made.

The grey water tees into the black drain outlet below the black tank.

If you leave the cap off of the sewer drain, the grey water will drain out. The septic tank only drians when you open the black tank valve.
