I really don't know. The person that was looking into it, Mr. Medrano, I never got to speak to him. Yesterday when I called in to his office I spoke to a young lady, I told her I was calling for mr. medrano about my 66 airstream, she remembered me of the couple of times I had been in there. She put me on hold and came back to tell me that Mr. Medrano had said that I could go ahead and go to the DMV and get the title transferred to my name, so I never got to talk to him. Honestly I really didn't care, all I wanted was to get the original title under my name.
Now when I went to the DMV, I was charged a penalty because I took longer than 30 days to transfer the title to my name, can you believe that, $150.00. My husband said just to pay it. So I paid it. I am going to write, Austin, Tx., a letter explaining why I took longer than the 30 days allowed, hopefully I will be my money back.
