If memory serves there are four bolts (studs) at the units base.

If you remove the nuts and the water line it should lift right off.

In spite of the wrong information in my profile, we are both 72 Sovereign owners..... . I can't be more definite about my above answer because I changed everything, but I am 99% sure of my above answer.

If the nuts are stuck and the studs are just spinning in the floor, it is a bit more tricky. I think one of my bolts did spin.

I don't know, I think I might have used a cut off wheel to cut the bolt?

Have you located the bolts? They are hidden pretty good. My toilet only had 2 nuts, 1 under the step flush mechanism and the other required a little access cap removal and needed a n extension to loosen the nut.
How about pictures of your toilet.
