1) keep it in the boat/RV storage yard and keep paying rent each month
2) enlarge our driveway to fit the AS (need to verify zoning and setback requirements from the city)
3) buy a new home that has plenty of RV storage space
Looks like option 2 is the most viable, but I need to do a cost/benefit trade-off analysis bet win #1 and #2 and check for zoning restriction. I will try to make the decision once I get my health issues behind us.
Hope you and the Bunny are doing well and hope to see you at The Jackson Rally in the fall.

Hey Scott, you could be like many others from SoCal... retire and move to NorCal and buy a 10 ac. Ranch to the east of Redding. I think you would enjoy it up here!

Hey TOP... I bet you're going to have "One Hell of a Retirement party", with lots of beer and BBQ with good friends. Take the money and run, my friend. As you know, there's lots of other things to do for a living. And once again... Thanks For Your Service, to our county.

Rita's new parking spot looks great!
I found this heater online that would be perfect for you if you ever change to radiant heat!

Wow Mr. c.... That is one cool heater... Where did you find that? Can you give me the web site? PS You have the nicest buff job out of all of the large trailers on the forum. Looks like many hours of hard work to keep her that shinny.

Nice pic, Mr. c....
I'm still working my landscaping project around Rita... just finished the steps between Rita and one of the rised garden beds. Which leads up to the pool & cabana/bathroom.
Hey did anyone see the eclipes yesterday? It was a great view of the sun & moon from our back yard. Some guy from Redding got his 700 pics on MSN home page...I guess Redding was one of the best places in the world to watch the event.
I do hope to get back to working on Rita....soon?

Awesome back yard you have there Rex. I know you have put a bunch of work into it. It looks like a place I need to visit someday.

You're welcome anytime, Lance.... you could park in front of Rita. All you need is a blue boy & a 50' extention cord for 110v power, you'll be "Good To Go"...or stay! Our place is only 735 miles from Las Vegas

Hey TOP,
My shades are those special glasses, one needs to look at the eclipes. The Bunny got two pairs at the local TV news station for 2 bucks per... I let go of "that" issue many months ago, so I don't feel the need to have hidden messages.
If you do travel to Calif... please feel free to call, and stay. Rex

Hey Ms. reiner... hope your summer is go well. Get that trailer done, and come on out to sunny Cailfornia! The tshirt is a movie prop from two different movies, same actor. The Kingfisher 1991, and the second movie came out in 1997, but is about living in LA in 1991....
I tried to take some pics with my point and shoot...not very good, but here you go Shelly, per your request.

T-REX I have been devouring your blog over the last couple of nights from beginning to end. It has been fun following the great work you have done to transition your AS from Old Girl to the beautiful Rita. I have enjoyed your travels, pictures and all that you have shared with us. It has been a cool ride to go along with you and The Bunny. Thanks for sharing.

Not sure about the hindges...? I do have many interior parts such a 1972 magazine holder, and alum. TV mount. Maybe "Vintage Airstream". But if anyone wants some orginial "72" parts, I do have some for free.
This weekend The Bunny and I stayed home, for "Staycation 2012". Most locals stay off of Shasta Lake this Holiday weekend. But enough said at this time, I will post some pics later.

So, this weekend The Bunny and I stayed home for "2012 MEMORIAL WEEKEND STAYCATION". Our biker friends came over...and stayed! Greg & Terri stayed in Rita. Indian Mike & Cris parked there motorhome in front of Rita, and Porno Bob came over on Sunday.
The first night we played Scattergories...the Girls won, a course! Some of the folks had SHOTS, others stayed away from that stuff, like me. The rest of the weekend they were hooked on "Angry Bird", I didn't play, because I didn't want to get hooked on that game. They passed around Terri's new "Fire" reader... for hours! Even Prono Bob got hooked!
Indian Mike said that he had been working lots of overtime, at his new job, so the morning-after he was "Mr. Nappy Time". The best part about vacations...it's okay to take a nap.
But, Prono Bob was the biggest DA... he said that he would be camping with his "soon-to-be-wife", at Lakeshore Resort. But stayed home on Saturday, and didn't do anything, nor did he call anyone? He tried to blame The Bunny for not knowing about "STAYCATION 2012".
