Thanks.... but no thanks. I do think I will order the jersey thooo. I would like to have it before the Bunny and I go to Feather Falls casino for Superbowl. You can send pic's of your cabinets if you have any. I alway enjoy looking at other people's home made cabinets.

Installed the wood frame for the kitchen cabinets and the end section today. Stain and sand each section 3 times with clear coat brushable Deft. Also built a Temp "false" door that will fit below the sink, this is so the Bunny can see what her Wallpaper inserts will look like. The Bunny said that the Wallpaper looks to light in color, so we will try some stain samples to darken the Wallpaper tomorrow. The wallpaper is called seagrass and the stuff looks like bamboo.

The plan is to glue the wallpaper to 1/4" plywood and insert as door pannels, (see pics). Has anyone out there in Airstream land tried this in their trailer? Trex "Airstream Nomad"

Thanks Hoot... hope you were able to run down all your leaks. I had one leak that has come back! This morning the Bunny did more research on the wallpaper and now she doesn't want to try staining. But she wants to scotch guard the stuff..... news at 11

Completed the bedframe and installed (temporary), in the Old Girl... Tomorrow I hope to install the countertop for the kitchen. I have 2 1/2 weeks to get the Old girl ready for Feather Falls and Superbowl sunday.

Every year in the winter around Shasta Lake, we enjoy two to three weeks of incredible weather. Today’s temps will be in the high 60’s and tomorrow it will be in the 70’s….yes, 70’s! Love the false spring we see this time of the year, because soon it will be raining again.

The countertop guy will be out around 3:00 pm. I have many tasks to complete before he shows, like finish pumping the new fresh water pump, clean up work area, so there’s room for the two of us to install countertop. That means re-installing air-conditioning cover, light covers, and anything else thats lying on the floor, and needs to be put back in place.

As you can tell, I am very excided about this countertop, and installing the oven/stove. It really feels like I am starting to close in on making the Old Girl useable again. It may take another six months or so to complete all of the work. But, to enjoy the trailer again will be nice for the Bunny and I. It is so nice in the back yard this morning....had to take some pics.

Nine and a half linear feet of countertop! Hey that's what am talking about! Very happy with the install, now it's on to the finish work under the counter top. I may move on to installing the Refrig. before I complete the cabinet doors.

Picking up the new refrig today...it's the replacement model for the 72/31' AS. So it should fit same location as the old frig. Trex "Airstream Nomad"

New Frig, and Bed...

Installed the new Refrig today...I used the old wall pannels to line-up the new frig in the correct location before marking and drilling. Used some diamond plate under the new refrig, it seems to have a better foundation.

Once the Refrig was mounted, I pulled the original pannels and used them as template's to cut out the new birch 1/4" pannels. In and out of the Old Girl 3 or 4 times; cutting, sanding, and refitting.... Once I got them where they fit like the originals, I put the first coat of stain on the two pannels.

The UPS guy delivered our new matress for the Island Queen fold-da-bed...its a Air bed with springs. I think it will be quit comfy.
