Trex,
Are we going to see you and The Bunny at Casini Ranch in April? Becky and I had a great with you both at Jackson Rancharia last October and hoped to tag up with you again at Casini.
Sounds like you are making good progress on your project to get Rita covered. Sure wish we had the space at home to store our Airstream. We are very envious!
Hope to see you both soon,

Casini now has a new on-line reservation. However... they have been experiencing some problems with their learning curve. Recommend you contact them directly and you call early, a little after 8:00 seams to be the best time. Good to hear you are planning to go, see you there.

Friday night we stayed in Rita at the Redding Elks... We had a nice dinner with Greg & Terri, and played Shuffleboard... The shuffleboard table is brand new to the lodge. Fun night with good friends.

I forgot to mention that I used a $20 Walmart air mattress Friday night, because the "air chamber" is back ordered. I was happily surprised to find out that the walmart air mattress fit inside the "spring air" mattress cover...it zipped right up! It's 3 inches thicker than the air chamber, and 2 inches longer, but not as wide... by 2 inches or so.
I talked to the Sales Rep from Spring Air this morning, and canceled the order for the $100 air chamber, but I may buy one of there memory foam mattresses, "Down The Road", and replace the Spring Air mattress. Anyway, he refunded my money within 30 minutes after talking to him. So, if I do buy a memory foam mattress, it will be thru him company.
Does anyone own one of these 5" memory foam mattresses, and use it on a "Hid-a-Bed? Is it comfortable? They are $250 bucks, so I would like to know....

Today I need to pickup Rita at the Elks lodge RV site in Redding. It's been raining here all morning, but it looks like this afternoon should be dry enough to retrieve the "old girl". Can't post any photos until I upgrade my Air membership...

I got Rita home around 2:00 PM... I think our next camping trip will be Super Bowl weekend. The Bunny is taking Monday off from work, which is the biggest "sick leave" day of the year, for the folks who still work full time We're going to Win River Casino, I hope they still have their two nights, for the price of one.

Mr. T,
I think if you show the folks at Win River Casino (and all the other Casinos you've been to) this thread they just might give you "carte blanche" for life - among other things, this thread is probably their best and least expensive (unless you've won or win really really big) advertisement investment.
Love the thread and your comments and the trip tips and the photos and . . .
Peace, MarkR

Hey Mr Mark & 3M.... Thanks for the positive comments guys... I'm going to upgrade before Superbowl weekend. Except, Win River doesn't really have anything of interest to take a photo of. Their RV park is a basic parking lot with Sewer & water hookups. But we may do so tailgating BBQ'ing if it's not raining. Plus, Indian Mike & Cris may stay with their Motor home...hopefully. And someone said that the Raiders Cheerleaders will be in the event hall for the game... $20 bucks to enter.

Okay Guys... I just paid my $20 bucks for the year...to AIR. But, remember folks, one could get kicked out of a casino for taking pics inside. Not sure about their event hall, it may be okay because there are no slot machines in the big room. The Bunny gets "Hit-on" all the time at casinos...men and women! And me, well...just call me chopped Liver!

Change of plans... We're going to the Redding Elks RV, Friday thru Monday. Going to John and Cathy's house just north of the Elks for a Pot Luck on Super Bowl, with our Harly Davidison friends. Also plan to do some bike riding...Temps in the mid 60's with clear weather for the weekend.

My old laptop died last week... just got a new one today from Best Buy. Also we didn't go camping this last weekend because I got sick with the flu. I stayed home for the super bowl... I didn't want to pass my illness on to anyone else...

Bummer about being sick, Rex. I didn't enjoy the Super Bowl much. So is the new laptop able to upload pics?

Hey TRex,
IT's been awhile. Hope you start feeling better, and get back to work on Riga. I'm writing this on our Kindle Fire and it keeps changing Riga (trailer name) to Riga. ?????????
Oscar the Weinerdog has not been feeling well and goes to the vet in the morning.
The weather here behind the cheddar curtain has been cold, but not much snow on the ground.
I tried to polish the water spots off the bambi but the nuvite froze to the skin before I could get the buffer to it.

Hey TOP... hope life is going well. My old laptop lasted 7 years! My new computer is a Toshiba "Satellite" and seems to work okay. Before I got sick, I stopped by Shasta Lake RV repair to look at a couple of trailers. 63 Airstream GT, and a 66 Silver Streak. The owner's don't want to sell... I don't blame them. The 66 SS Saber is in great shape...100% original, not one dent, and no water damage! It had beem stored in a barn its whole live. I stopped by the Elks yesterday to pick-up dinner tickers for this weekend... The Elks RV Club "The Traildusters" is having a Sant V-day party, with poker starting at 2 pm and dinner at 6 pm. So, I will pull Rita down to the Elks on Friday.

Hey Tim... Looks like you're getting a pretty light winter up there in the "Great White North". They showed some guys playing golf on the news the other day. Today I continued working on my new fence along the north property line. I wish I could just go back to work on Rita. It's alot easier work then digging post holes!
