Ha ha Rex! Just giving you a hard time.. I take pics while I "ride" my bike(cycle)... my wife thinks I'm nuts! I love the pics though.. they always make me smile.
Man.. Bunny REALLY needs to buy some Lotto tix! She's still on a hot streak! And, I must say, has impecable taste in new tow vehicles too! Think you need a new Power Wagon to replace your Dodge? Love that thing.. my daughter and I are working on a '55 Dodge C3 pickup.. but think more vintage hot rod than monster truck.
Looks like it was a great day for the show!

Love the pictures! Would you please ask Bunny if she would start rooting for the Red Sox? LOL

Ms. reiner... after all the bad weather you folks have gone thru this year, you need some good news... How about those Patriots!
The Bunny doesn't really follow baseball, but she is a big time football fan, and the Redskins are her team... but I think she likes the SF Giants.
Sad to see the Red Sox's fall apart this last month. Same for my SF Giants, they lost big time last nite! The only good part about last nite was... I won some money on the poker table at Win River Casino.

Friday night... The Bunny and I will be thinking about beaches, boats, bars, and tropical drinks with those colorful little unbrellas! We are going to see Garratt Wilkin & the Parrotheads at Feather Falls Casino. They are billed as the #1 Jimmy Buffett tribute band in America. We shall see....
But, before we go, I will need to crawl under Rita, and check the new axles, to ensure they are still nice and tidy...with no loose nuts & bolts.
We will be staying the weekend at Feather Falls KOA, with Indian Mike & Chirs...Chirs is turning 55 this week, and she wanted to get out of town for her birthday.

Today after picking up and delivering a new E-Z chair to my parents house. I crawled under Rita and checked the nuts & bolts holding the axles onto the Old Girl.
Had two nuts that I was able to get a half turn out of... the rest were good to go. I think I have approx. 1,000 miles on the new axles, and the last time I checked them, I had 7 miles.
Also, the new tires look good, with no unusual wear...they have the same miles as the axles.

Today I'm packing Rita for our trip to Feather Falls Casino. Looks like the weather will be cooler...mid 80's. Looking forward to trying some of there other craft beers, but because of my type 2 diabetes, I can only have a couple of beers per day. Not like the good old daze, when I played Rugby, we would drink 2 kegs of beer after the game with the other team! Seems like that was just yesterday, not...30 years ago!
I think we will be in the same site from our last visit.

WINNER-WINNER....CHICKEN DINNER!
The Bunny won again!!!! This time she won $5,000 during the 10 PM drawing, Saturday night. She had 18 tickets in the bin, out of 350,000 tickets total! I was sitting at the poker table when they called her name. I couldn't believe that she won another drawing...
We had a great time, but Indian Mike got cut off early, for being too LOUD in the Brew pub bar at the Casino. Now that he sold his Indian Motorcycle, I think his new nickname should be "Tourettes Mike"...

The Weather was great on Saturday afternoon at Feather Falls KOA, I took the dogs for a couple of walks, used the hot tub for an hour or so, and went for a bicycle ride... love the new redwood bark teepee some of the High School kids from the tribe built.

Later in the Afternoon, Indian Mike & Chirs came over from the Casino Hotel to the KOA for dinner. I BBQ'ed steaks, and The Bunny made roasted brussel sprouts. Also, The Bunny had a birthday cake for Chirs's Double Nickel birthday dinner party. After dinner, we all went over to the casino....and the rest is history! Bunny wins more money, and Indian Mike gets cut off.

The Bunny sent the following photos to me, from her Android phone. The Jimmy Buffet cover band Friday night was really good, and the venue at the Feather Falls Brew Pub is a great place to listen to live music.
The other two pics are of a local bar in downtown Oroville... we didn't go in. But, I thought it was an interesting contrast between the 10 million dollar remodel at the casino, and oldtown Oroville.

Allure flooring problems
I am not very happy with the Allure flooring that I installed in Rita. I am having issues with seam pop up and seams pulling apart. So, we are going to replace with something else. If you look on the web... you will see many other folks out there having the same problems.
I was going to replace this week, but The Bunny and I talked about waiting until we get back from our first Airstream Rally at Jackson Casino. That way, we can look at some of the other AS's there, and see what other owners are using, and how it's wearing. So, if you're happy with your flooring, please share with The Bunny & I...

Too much rocking and rolling Trex! I guess that shows how much these things flex as they go down the road. I have some cheap Ikea laminate flooring down in my Argosy... it too has done the same thing, even though it's been glued together. I think some sheet vinyl, might flex enough for the trailers. I hear AS just puts it down, letting it float on the floor (no gllue).

I agree with you Marc.... I think that sheet vinyl is the way to go. But, we are going to wait and see what types of flooring other's are using this weekend.
Another pic from The Bunny's camera photo...

Trex,
We have had great success with the sheet vinyl. We found some simulated wood floor look that you have to almost touch to see it is not real. No glue, it just lays there.
It is easy to install and easy to change when you want. We bought ours at Lowes. Don’t remember the brand, but I will look.

Hey Trex,
Just got back from the Bison Roundup at Custer SP, 2000 miles round trip. Maybe I should try posting some pics. This was our first trip longer than a couple hundred miles. Only had two mishaps.
Anyway, we installed sheet vinyl from Lowes, you know the stuff on the bulk roll at the back of the store. I bought a 12X13foot piece and glued it down to the ply floor while the shell was off. The idea was to make the surface seamless and waterproof.
I can see some of the seams under the vinyl, but ther is no indication of cracking. Karen likes it because there are no seams and it makes it easy to sweep and wipe up.

This last weekend, The Bunny and I went to Jackson Rancheria Casino, for our very first "Free" Airstream rally. I say it was free, because there are no costs to attend, other than your RV site...and our RV site was discounted by $15, because of the group rate.
The best part of the rally was meeting the people... After following most of them on the forum, and talking to some on Threads. It was really nice to put a face to an Avatar! What a wonder group of folks! And the potluck on Saturday night was one of the best that I have ever attended.
The Bummer part of the rally was...The Bunny got sick, so Saturday night was a short night for us, and we didn't attend the campfire event on Saturday night....so if you have pics of the campfire that night. Please feel free to post a couple of your photos here. I really would like to see them!
PS, I won $500 the first night, so I want to thank Jackson Rancheria Casino for paying for our fuel, RV site, drink, and food during our stay at Jackson...and that is "The rest of the story", it was truly a "Free" rally for Trex and The Bunny.

One of the best features of Jackson RV park is the walking trail that goes around the preimeter of the campsites. A great place to walk our dogs, Speedy & Jacky. Plus I loved seeing wild turkeys walking just outside the fence at the pool & hottubs.

Hey Tim...nice the hear from you. I think that we are going to buy sheet vinyl...that looks like bamboo flooring. Hope you post some pics of your trip, I would love to see them!
Here's more pics of our trip to Jackson....there was a really nice mix of vintage & "Like new" Airstreams!
