Nice Z. I have a '95 M3. I'd like to find a 540i touring to tow Abby with.

Did those greedy BMW execs ever let a V8 Touring come to the US? I thought they always kept Americans from liking their wagons by limiting the engines and availability... only 328 and 530/535 (depending on the year.)

And yes, I'm bitter about that sort of thing... I like wagons (my daily driver is an '05 Subaru Legacy GT Limited with the 2.5 turbo and a manual transmission.) It's particularly galling that BMW brought the gawd-awful mutant 5 GT and said we didn't need a 5 Touring anymore.

Did I just get WAY off topic?

Yeah a little off topic, but were talking Bimmers! They sold the 540i Touring from 1999-2003 I believe. There are a lot for sale on AutoTrader nationwide.

Wow! That is a big honkin' end cap! I don't think I've ever seen a trailer with all that black stuff painted on the skin. Is that what they used for glue for the insulation? My trailer didn't have anything like that.

So I'm on my roof removing my ac when I spied a little old man in a tiny white truck pull into the alley between my back fence and the auto parts store. He climbed into the auto parts store dumpster and disappeared . Every few minutes a piece of scrap metal would fly out of the dumpster and land in his truck bed. While he was down in the dumpster I snuck over and put my entire wiring loom and copper tubing from my demo in the bed of his truck. Then I snuck back over to my roof to wait. You should have seen the confused look on his face when he emerged to see a bed full of copper. He put his head down on his steering wheel for a while, looked like he was crying.

You just got visited by the copper fairy lol.

I've said it before.. That's one lucky airstream to have someone like you bring it back from the dead.
