Suburban Water Heater Access Door

Progressing slow along with my as restore final have the flooring getting ready to paint..I worked out a wonderful deal for a new Suburban 10 gal hot water heater for 150 new. But my access panel won't cover it.. I've looked for a access panel kit but they all come painted.. I need it stainless or just plain on alumina. Have any of my AS buddies out there been through some of the same issues with access panel? Can you find a different panel that might work without having to fabric and panel? advice place..

I spray painted the new door silver for the time being. I kept the old stainless steel door that I'm going to try and figure out how to make work.
