Sorry for delayed response. I took mine down to the frame and rebuilt everything. I didn't do any reinforcing of the frame-- just replaced all the rusted outriggers and patched the swiss cheese steel. I've never quite been able to understand the rear end drop. I guess I didn't have it. All the research I did suggested that the shell and the frame support each other to give the coach stability. Also I tried to not weigh down the rear as much as possible ( although I did move the bedroom to the rear and shower and toilet to the middle. )

I realize I'm not being much help for your situation. Have you been able to figure it out?

Great thread. Gives me some good guidance to lay a game plan and make my trailer dreams a reality.

looking for specific part

Can anyone point me in the right direction to find the clips that will hold/fasten the interior metal trim piece that goes around the interior door?

The clips broke off when I removed the interior skins and I cannot find them anywhere.

Thanks

Tim

Can you post a photo? You never know what a guy may have laying around in his garage.
