'73 Sovereign water leak

I have water leak at both front corner windows. The top of them are sealed good wonder if the seal that holds glass in looks to have shrunk over the years . Remove it and caulk or ? Also my 73 has 6 inch frame in rear and a smaller frame under that. Must have been updated I think ? Was worried about frame separation but looks good I think .

A lot of people with that leak vulkem the inside of that window on the old seal after cutting the old seal flush with a sharp knife. Seems to work for them. Mine leak too and that's my plan.

Cut the exposed portion off with a utility knife then clean everything real well then use the Trempro-635 or similar urethane to caulk that area between the glass and the frame. This is where the water gets between the panes.

Thank you for the information I didn't I think it was the top window as someone has sealed the roof with a thick rubberized coating before I bought it

As far as the rear end separation issues go you need to inspect the floor in the bathroom. Also look at the rear cross member and see if it is rotted out. The area where the plate that holds the bumper compartment goes under the trailer has killed more Airstreams than anything else.

The bathroom floor is perfect condition I just replaced all the flooring and it looks great . Can I look at the rear crossmember from above or do I have to take the metal off the bottom or the holding tanks are?

so far it isn't sagging at all it was under a pole building with the frame supported in 10 different places for the last 25 years I realize I'll probably need axles

The the bumper compartment should give you acess the crossmember.

So... Looking in year compartment I don't see much ? The frame looks ok no rust, there are no cross members other than two angle iron pieces that hold in sewer tank ? Can't see more foreword than that. Wonder if I should remove under belly and look further ?
