Bicycle Racks

What are you using to carry your bikes. Last year had 2 bikes stolen, even with Krytonite chain/lock... thief used socket set to remove entire bike rack with bikes!

Anyone use rack that attaches to front A-frame and sits on top of propane tanks? I will have an ARE shell on my truck soon, but really don't like the idea of lifting bike to put on rack up there. (Getting too old to do much lifting LOL)

Let's hear from you creative types!

We put the bikes over the propane tanks. However that made the hitch weight too high. So we put the bikes on the front. If it is raining we have a way of securing them inside the AS which works quite well.

I have the height set so I can open the lid and turn tanks on and of, if necessary. Anything else, and the bike would have to come off.
Maybe 4" of access room.
