Faucets

There is a small faucet next to the main kitchen sink faucet in our Excella. Is that filtered water? If so, do I need to change the filter and how is that done and where can I get a replacement filter?

It sounds like something that was added by a prior owner. Look under the counter around the sink for a filter canister, remove the filter and replace it. The filter is probably something that you can but locally.

Our 1991 25ft Excella also has the small faucet next to the main kitchen sink faucet, not sure but I think it may have come from Airstream as an option? Anyway ours is for filtered water, there should be a filter under the counter directly beneath the faucet, we bought a replacement filter at Camping World, just took the old one out and brought it into the store with us to make sure we got the right one.

It is also possible that it is an instant hot water tap. Ours has a separate, small faucet that is connected to a beige colored heater (about the size of a cigar box)under the sink. It plugs into the wall under the sink and runs on 120v. Might have been an option in the 80s.

Thanks, everybody. We'll look under the sink and see what we can find.
