Hello Everyone,
We recently purchased our 3rd Airstream. We picked the 83 Excella because of its relative light weight. She is 31' twin with a side bath.We have an issue with the shower pan. It is cracked in two places and has had previous repair attempts . I would like to replace it. Has anyone found a source for the fiberglass part ? Airstream no longer carries it.
Thanks
Brian
I'm experiencing the same problem. I thought about getting it plastic welded, but I think the whole thing is just too brittle, and its yellowed. There was a link to a place on this forum, but I can't seem to find it. I checked out the link, and they had the shower pan I needed, but it was about $600 US....that's about $60000 CDN! I think I'm going to do as suggested above and get one made by a metal fabricator.
For a temp fix so you can use it, try patching with Lexel sealant. It will out last the pan!
Seriously, it will be a permanent patch job until you get a new pan fabbed.

Andy was not the airstream Santa he portrayed himself to be, but he understood the concept of service. When he sold, the "book value" of the business may have been optimistically stated. The new owner? One can only speculate, but business failure is a common outcome.
