What kind of glue should I use to put in a small vista window?

I've been working towards improving the windows on my 1968 Airstream Ambassador. I have successfully put in a Corning window that was missing when the trailer was purchased.

Although, I noticed one of the small vista windows in the front of the trailer was replaced by the previous owner with plexi glass. So, I went and got some car glass custom cut. Luckly this window is flat so I saved a lot of money not having to purchase curved glass.

My issue is that I don't want to use silcone as a glue to install the glass. So I'm wondering what adhesive would be compatible with glass and aluminum, but also safe to use on the Airstream?

Thank you for the help!
