Hello! I am new to Argosy motorhome ownership but have owned a vintage camper in the past. I am fairly handy but cannot figure out how to remove the sliding windows of the cockpit area. My unit has apparently sat under trees for most of it's life and has accumulated sap and debris from the environment in the window "runs". Most of the rubber and gaskets are missing or deteriorated so bad they need to be replaced. My thoughts are that I need to remove the sliding window for sure to replace/repair the aforementioned problems. Any advice on removal?
Take a look in the Argosy motorhome section, there are many posts on what you need to do, and part numbers for the fuzzy channel so you can replace.
Make sure you look on the Argosy forum though as the Classic motorhome windows appear to be made to a higher precision and so modern seals/gaskets work well, the Argosy windows maybe 'the same' but often a modern seal/gasket does not accommodate/hold the glass aligned and so allow it to slide.
