Removing Windows in '61 Safari

My 61 Safari has an aluminum flashing over the windows that is riveted onto the body. Do I have to remove these flashings in order to remove
the windows, i.e. slide them out of their tracks?

Also missing one window, it measures 21" wide by 17-1/2 high. It is the
window over the sink. If anyone knows where I could find one I'd be
most grateful.

You should be able to remove the single philips screw keeping the window frame in the track, and slide the window out after removing the lift arm. You may have to persuade the frame to start moving. Good luck with the window, I finally found one that was too big, and am going to have to cut it down and weld it to fit.

You may have to remove one or 2 rivets to spring the eyebrow out of the way enough to slide the window clear. I have seen some with a screw at one end, probably for this reason.
I had to remove all the eyebrows on my 61 and reseal them anyway, so this might be an opportunity to do that one

I have to remove a window on my '64 Bambi II and I know exactly what you are talking about. All I did was bend the eyebrow up slightly, just enough to get a screwdriver in to loosen the set screw. Once my broken corner is welded and the window put back together, I will slide the frame in, replace the set screw, and bend the eyebrow back into position.

Hopefully this process will not leave too noticeable a crease in the thin eyebrow metal.
