range hood/vent necessary ?

I'm renovating my '73 Sovereign and redoimg the entire kitchen. I'll have a large MaxxAir vent in the center of the kitchen. Is it necessary to have a vented range hood as well ?

You could get by without, we normally run the fantastic fan when cooking to keep the smoke alarm from causing me any more hearing loss.

Reminds me of my 04 Lance camper, it had a hood with a fan but wasn't ducted anywhere. lol.

Welcome Aboard!! 🥂👍

I would say yes...DW sez absolutely.
We hold the vent flap open to improve the airflow.👍

Plus the outside smell of ☕️, 🥓&🥚cooking can politely wake fellow campers.😋
