Main Door hinge
The upper screw on the top door hinge was loose. It would not tighten just spin. I went to HD and got one 1/4 inch longer and it had the same issue. I assume a nut is spot welded in there and it broke away. Any suggestions?

Main Door hinge
Nut is loose against a backing plate inside the rib I believe. There are some threads on this issue you need to pull some trim from the inside / drill a 1” hole and install a new nut.
