Lubricant

What lubricant should I use for front door, when closing door makes a lot of noise. ? Have a 2018 flying cloud , need help

I’m a huge fan of Royal Purple synthetic lubricant. It quieted my door like magic.

Don’t use WD40, by the way. It’s not actually a lubricant.

For that particular spot, we used several different kinds of lubricant. All of which inevitably became really dirty and wound up as a nice black grease stripe on my shoulder.

I quit using grease. Now I use a drop or two of liquid dish detergent.

I use graphite powder.Liquids attract dirt and dust

Dry silicone lub. Any oil base will attract dirt and will gum up the works.
