So, Airstream has started putting deadbolts on their trailers, at least in the 2020 model year. This means a number of things. Here are a few.
First, the deadbolts are TriMark manufactured. The keys come from TriMark. You can't order blanks. You have to order cut keys.
(This is not obvious from the Airstream Site: it has a deadbolt key blank that says its for all ASs after 2013 or something. Which is incorrect.) The TriMark keys cost (today) $3 each, with a $10 processing fee plus postage. You have to get to TriMark "Service and Replacement Parts," Toll Free: 1-800-431-8616 Email: email@example.com

Second, our new FC came with four keys: (1) front door key, (2) deadbolt key, (3) silver key A and (4) silver key B. However ... silver key A--of which we got only 1--opened all of the storage areas, the outdoor shower, and the water tank access. Silver key B opened absolutely nothing, though we were assured by the dealer that it opened the water tank, at least. It didn't open jack.
Third: Airstream's store is clueless. My goal is to have four full sets of keys, because someone (my wife would say it's me, just because I have on rare occassions lost a few stylii, maybe a phones, occassionally my glasses, and my wallet, and of course my mind) ... anyway, she would claim that someone loses keys. But when I ordered what the store claims is the replacement for the deadbolt, I got something that's nothing like that key. And when I ordered Silver Key A and Silver Key B they sent me only ... want to guess which one?
I was initially tempted to blame the dealer, but this is clearly an Airstream problem.
