Inverter & Rear Door Leak

1973 Airstream Ambassador - How do I stop the Small Inverter door on the awning side and the rear door above the rear bumper from leaking during heavy rains. Both have new seals but I think because they both open down the water runs down the seam into the trough at the bottom and then overflows inside. It is rotting my wood!

Thanks
