We have one on our garage side door and the closure works well, but I would not consider the screen to be noseeum proof. They are secured by tacks and come in a 39X83” size, so there would be considerable extra that you may be able to wrap around a frame to set in place, hanging off the rain gutter and secured to the hinges/handle/step. It all seems like a fussy job for not much more air or protection than the standard door.
PS I’ve found that wiping on a pyrethrum based clothing treatment makes my door and window screens more effective against the tiny biters.
