Front storage compartment lock is broken

The key won’t turn in the lock on the front storage compartment. I had a locksmith out and he couldn’t get it to turn either. I’ve read in the forums that you can access the lock from the inside by removing the plywood under the bed. Seems like this is a better option than having it drilled?

Once I do that, how do I order a new lock?
