Cabinet Hinges

I have a 2019 16RB Bambi. I have had several of the cabinet hinges come loose, and have not been able to find anything on proper operation of these hinges. I know they are adjustable, but does anyone have a link to something I can review?

Side note. Has anyone had any experiences relating to adding the aluminum rock guards to a Bambi instead of the 3M laminate shield. I am wanting to add the aluminum, but didn't know if it was worth it.

Thanks all.

I believe that the rock guard are made of Stainless Steel. If I'm not wrong.

They are, in fact, brushed finish stainless steel. It’s a bit stiffer and harder to dent than aluminum.

That said, on the last trip i did manage to collect a rather big dent in the lower edge of one. Probably a piece of tire tread hit it. Bent the metal and the reinforcement across the bottom edge, but the shell is undamaged. That’s why the segment protectors are on there...yet another item on the fix list after a 4,000 mile trip!

Yes, I think I misspoke on that one. I love the look, but they would add some extra weight. May thought was to maybe wait and get some more road wear before replacing the 3M sticker.

Thanks RMKRUM. Sorry about the damage, but I'm learning that's all part of it. Yes stainless makes more sense. My dealer offered to install for $1250. Im thinking it might be worth the extra protection.

which part of the hinges that came loose? It may be a small part but it is complicated and would take time to explain different parts of the hinge that would have gotten loose. To save time, so which part of it is loose? You said several hinges so are they all loose in the same place?

Start with these

They prevent the slightest bump from separating the two haves.

I just installed the clips in my 25 today. Voila! No more accidental opening of the hinge.
