Hi, is there anyone that can coach me on changing out the front window on a 1976 Trade wind? The frame is fine, it is just the safety glass that has shattered. Also, door has a bend outward, likely from someone trying to break in.I am thinking of heating the area with a torch and wedging it back into shape. Any and all ideas are much appreciated.Thank you

I can't help you with the window, but I strongly caution against using any torch for the purpose of straightening aluminum. Aluminum does not behave like steel (turning orange/red) and will simply vanish before your eyes if too much heat is applied. Heat can have other affects on the material depending on the material grade and temper.
