1966 - 1968 Curved Glass - New manufacture
I have access to a manufacturer that can make the 17", 29", and 39" width versions of these windows, but they'll come in at about $400 (est) each if bought in quantity (30). Personally, I think it's a ridiculous amount, but I need two of these myself and am willing to buy the first two (plus one spare) if I can get rid of the other 27.
Does that seem like a workable price? I'm willing to invest in having these made, but don't want to end up with a bunch of unsalable, overpriced windows sitting around.
Any thoughts on replacement windows other than that they should be;
20 1/2 inches tall
1/8 inch thick
Curved tempered glass
Clear
If there's sufficient interest in these I'll consider having them done but wanted to float the idea with you guys first.
Any thoughts?

I might worth a call to some of the vintage trailer part supply folks (VTS, etc..) to see if they have any interest. The problem becomes, you don't need one, until you need one and you never know which size that will be.
Good Luck, Hope I never need one for the 1966 Overlander,

Interested!
Hello! Not sure if y'all made any progress on this but I need one 29" wide window for our 1966 Overlander. $400 seems crazy... but then again... this entire project has been crazy. hahaha. Just throwing this out to the universe that if this is still a possibility, I'd be down to be a part of the conversation.

Message Daniel Sanchez on Facebook. He manufactures these windows now and they are very nice. He is in Atlanta but he ships anywhere. https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=1186042469

Sorry, but in the absence of any interest in the project I was unable to move forward on having the glass manufactured, but I have everything set up and ready to go if enough interest accumulates. BTW, the price per unit should come in at around $250 if I can get them.

**I made an error in above post - I was contacted by someone else who had an ad for curved glass.

Windows for 1966 1967 1968 Airstreams
AirstreamTrailerParts.com now has these windows available. They are just slightly thicker than the originals and have the correct curvature. If they show out of stock, don't worry - there will be more coming.
AirstreamTrailerParts.com is owned by P and S Trailer - they've been around since 1968.

Good to hear someone has the curved glass. We have a 66 with all the original curved glass. I had to replace one flat, non curved piece when we renovated a few years ago. The replacement safety glass was a hair thicker. On the 66 the top frame was not an adjustable channel but a fixed thickness. With the channel nature of the top piece of the frameless frame, I had to run a drill bit along the inside of the frame to enlarge it a bit. The drill bit was perpendicular to the frame.

I’m replacing plex with curved glass on my 67 Safari. The window clips are rusty/fragile and too narrow for the new glass. Every vendor I’ve found says out of stock or discontinued. Before I resort to making my own, anyone seen these for sale?

I looked around and vintagecampers.com have stainless steel ones. I had to kinda page through their website to find them. Or, give them a call and speak to Dan Piper if needed. Good luck
