1960 Window Latches - Replacing Missing Ones with Alternative?

Hey all, working through a 1960 Tradewind resto. It’s got interesting latches that I haven’t been able to find… I’m missing two. Wondering if there’s a replacement I’m just not finding or if there’s an alternative folks have had success with? The Hehr Locking Handle VTS-322 seems like it could work instead but I thought I’d run it by the forums before pulling the trigger on them. I’m also rebuilding the rear sash with the VTS frame parts & would need an option for the latch clip too.

Thanks all!
Iz

Looks like a rooster latch. I looked at VTS-322 and have used those primarily on the rear escape window. I would think it’ll work. You may have to file the slot in the frame a little more if the new latch is too thick. Good luck and post what latch works.

Okay thanks for the insight. I ordered the vets-322, they do look thicker so there will be some modifications to make them work. Yep it’s for the rear window. There seems to be a trend with people having the most problems/missing parts with these rear windows! Thank you and I’ll try to follow up when I’ve sorted it out.
