1/8" Window Clips 1966 - 1968

Back again for more, folks!

This time banging my head against the wall looking for 1/8" steel window clips for the 1966-68 type curved windows.

I am going with a 1/8" Lexan replacement option and all of my old clips are rusted out. Fortunately, clips are in stock at VTS! Unfortunately, they only have 3/32".

The same goes for everywhere else on the interwebs, if in stock at all.

Any ideas on where I can find these? Is DIY a possibility?

Their are some 3/32" clips on eBay currently that might be modified if you don't find any 1/8" clips. Good luck

Try some of the smaller clips, I find I almost always have to squeeze them more closed. Also, usually (always) have to glue them on or they constantly fall off. If you're really getting stuck, I might have some spares as I have experimented with both sizes.
Good luck... Mark D

Thank you guys for the quick responses! I took your advice and ordered some of the 3/32" clips to try, I will be sure to update this thread with my findings. Thanks!

They all seem to slide around a bit. On the 66 I squirted some silver Parbond in the clip and spread it out with an old knife blade. I slid it into place and let it sit overnight. The next day I took an exacto knife and cut off any caulk that had squeezed out. They have held and the Parbond matches the clip well enough. Good luck

Might put a piece of 1/8 inch metal in the 3/16 clips and squeeze with a pair of vice grips.
