Thanks for the link. I’m going to with that valve.

I was going to mount the pump today, and realized it’s not as simple as before, because of all the Ts being used.
Cargo space is limited and this is where the pump will go, so I need to figure out how to mount it while saving space.

How much does water pressure change when the pump is moved around?
IE: the pump being 2 ft from the shower compared to the pump being 7-8 ft from the shower.
Ideally, I’d want the shower to have the most water pressure.

Is there any downsides to mounting the pump vertically compared to horizontally?

You're welcome. With 1/2" tubing 2 ft or 20 ft I don't believe would make a noticeable difference, maybe if you get over 100 ft.

Hi Atomic_13,
I am in the middle of my restoration of a 25" 1970 Tradewind. What size water tank do you have? I see that is it above the flooring. That is where I want to put mine. Any advice for the same installation you have pictured...
Thanks, Rob

Hi Rob - it’s a 60 gallon tank. See post #299 on my renovation thread for details how I supported that much weight.

Man!
You think all you need is some fittings and tubing and you’ll be done in a couple of hours.
Many other tedious things that I needed to do before running the lines had to be done.
Paint cargo area where lines and pump will go, make sure all things under the sink are situated before the sink is installed and makes it harder to do things down there.

I’m working on repairing the water tank now, then I can do all the plumbing.

The fittings I ordered for the water tank. They have an o ring and I can get them tight, but I’m not sure if you sealant with the o ring or just the o ring alone.

Ok, I’ve drawn up the final diagram.
I’ve ran most of the new plumbing, except for the restroom.
Here’s the digram and info on it.
Click on the photos to open in a new page if they look blurry.
Thanks for the help all.

I would try to lay out the PEX and low-point valves so that the low-point valves would drain as much water as possible. Ideally, the low-point valves drain all the water but that seems an impossible task.

The valves are the second lowest point of the system.
The lowest points is a 90° bend on the line coming from the city water hook up and the line going to the kitchen sink.
I was just going to open the drains on the valves and blow air through the system.

I forgot to add the 3 way valve to pump antifreeze into the system.

Now I am debating if I want hot water at the kitchen sink.
The tankless water heater I was looking at had an inlet for a gas line and cold water and an outlet for hot water.
I was going to mount it in the bathroom.

This is what I’m thinking, I am open to other ideas.

I could still use the tankless water heater and just mount it somewhere else.
Run the cold water and gas line as needed.
I would run the hot water outlet to a T fitting.
From the T fitting, the hot water would go to the sink and the bathroom and I’d just use a fixture like this to control water temperature in the shower.
HowPlum RV/Mobile Home Shower Valve with Hand-Held Shower, Brushed Nickel https://a.co/d/5czwEBF

The only issue I see is any water heater on the low price side ($160 or less) has a gas adjustment knob.

I’d have to mount it somewhere accessible and interior space is limited and the bathroom was really the only open spot for the water heater.
Would be nice if I could flip a switch for the propane so it could turn on when needed.

Anyone have any recommendations on what to do?
Is hot water at the sink worth this headache?

Thanks.
