Water pressure restricters ( restrictors?)

I have a 100' run from my water faucet to my city water connection.
Does it matter where I put the water pressure restricter? ( at the faucet, or at the trailer) AND.....wouldn't closing down the faucet a bit do the same thing?? Dave

I would put it at the beginning of the hose, near the city water faucet. That way, the pressure won't rupture the hose. And no, closing the faucet won't realy help, as eventually the pressure will go to full, just not as fast.

I took your advice

Thanks from the right coast to you, on the left coast. But now I want to cut apart the restricter to see how it works.

I find these restrictors are a PITA. They restrict flow so much on the city water that the shower doesn't work well. We end up boosting it with the water pump from the H2O tank.

Anybody else have this problem? Any solutions?
