Hooked up to city water source.
Fresh water tank was dry and drain closed.
Fresh water tank is over flowing.
How can this happen? Any ideas?

Seems to be a fairly common occurrence and happened to us on our first outing when unit was new. Check valve can stick or get a piece of debris stuck in it, possibly from assembly. I turned off city water and ran off fresh water tank via pump to pull tank level back down and this also freed up the stuck valve. I think this is the easiest thing to try first before repairing or replacing the valve.

Welcome to the forum!

These search results should lead to some helpful threads/posts:

Disconnect from city water, and turn your pump on/off a number of times while running the water. Chances are good the check valve will clear itself.

If the problem persists, turn on city water again, and do the above a number of times. If no joy, you may have to replace the pump and/or check valve [if a replaceable part -- see other posts via link above].

You must always use a filter in the hose when on city water, AND when filling the water tank.

Good luck,

Peter
