My one wish is that you could calibrate them- and frankly I am really surprised that is not an option- this is why I wouldn't buy them again for our shallow tanks. If I had a deeper tank I would consider them. If I could set zero after dumping, fill to "full" then set 100, I would love it.
I have the same issue having 2 grey tanks that fit between the floor joists. Being very low the readings are similar to yours. If I had it to reinstall I would have adjusted the strip a little more. That being said I dont find it much of an issue. I know the grey are full at about 86% reading. The great thing about low tanks is they fit into the floor good. The lousy thing is they are low....LOL. My black and fresh are deeper and the gauges read much more accurate.
I would reinstall SeeLevel no problem again.....what would you go to with low tanks I havent seen anything else that is as accurate??

This fact takes some thought and temporary install with tape to get it where you want it. In my case I wanted fresh water to be such that when it indicates zero, I have 5 gallons left to wash hands and flush. For black and gray, I wanted 100% to be full....dont care about empty. I filled the black and gray and put 5 gallons in fresh and moved the sensors around until I hit the exact location I wanted...then affixed the self adhesive, backed up with gorilla tape on edges.
Also, keep in mind that our tanks have a sloped bottom, so the readings will be very inaccurate below 15%. In other words, 15% is really only 4 or 5 %

Thanks Rich! I didn't think of temporary installation to set levels as you suggested. Will do that when I install my system.
