Question RV preschool

Hello, I just got a '60 AS Ambassador and barely know the front end from the rear. Where do I begin... How large is the black water tank? Do all the drains drain into it, ie kitchen sink, shower?
I need a very basic book or manual on RV repairs, any ideas?
Thanks everyone,
Lisa

Hi Lisa,
Congratulations and welcome to the forums. My husband & I just bought our first AS too. We don't have much experience but these forums have become our book & manual. Members go out of their way to help. The search feature is great. A member gave me this url which may help you too.

Airstream, Inc :: Travel Trailer Specifications

Like I said, not an expert by any means but we started by pulling up the carpet and then cleaning everything. We have discovered a lot that way. My husband is using the forums to find out information on the systems, but we are planning to take it in to an AS service center for a brake/axle checkup.

I am sure that someone with more expertise will be responding soon. You have come to the right place. Got pictures?
