Need replacement kitchen faucet for '77 Overlander
We have a 1977 Overlander that we are restoring. We are in need of a replacement kitchen faucet and are having difficulty in locating one. Any recommendations on where to find one?
The only "perfect fit" that I found for our 1976 AS is a Kohler. You will know it when you see it. It is a traditional design and is labeled made in Italy. It has a low arching 16" spigot on a single 2" or so base. The single handle follows the arc of the spigot and moves left to right for temp and up and down for pressure. It does not have any of the addons like a spray wand extending from the spigot. In 2007 I bought it for <$100. It uses a common valve RGP1016515. Fortunately the brass connectors are offset so that you can get them through the hole in the sink. Connection here is not good enough for me to send a graphic or look at a Kohler web page.
