Need Replacement Faucet for wet bath 2004 22 ft International

We have a 22 ft 2004 International and on our first day of a trip to Alaska the bathroom faucet began leaking and we could not get it to stop. I have researched it and it seems that faucet is prone to this. The manufacturer of the faucet no longer makes it. Is anyone aware of a good option to replace that faucet with one that has a pull out sprayer to support the shower but still fits in the space.
thank you
Lee & Ellen

I had the exact same problem, and had to find something I'd love on short notice. I bought this faucet, and absolutely love it. The shut-off control is only intermittent -- meaning you need to keep the button held down to stop the flow. So I use that when it's handheld, but for longer pauses, I turn off the water at the faucet. Which is easy since it's a single mixer control. Note that this comes in regular and "bar sink" sizes. You want the bar sink size which is a 7" overhang.

BTW, after I bought this, I found out about another manufacturer who makes some faucets specifically for wet baths. Just make sure their wide designs have sufficient clearance in the corner of the sink.

Scandvik Marine Inc. - list

I have exactly your model -- 2004 22' CCD, so I understand the space issues. And BTW, installing the faucet is a pain through that little access panel. Make sure whoever does it does not cheat and damage the fittings under the faucet housing because s/he can't get both arms in there to stabilize the feed lines while tightening the connections. If the job is rushed, you could end up with a hidden leak.

Thanks

Thanks for the information on the faucet and the installation challenges. I was going to do it myself but room is very tight in there.
Thanks
Lee

Yes, I didn't want to do it myself for the same reason —*that it's so cramped in there. So I let a factory-trained tech at an Airstream dealer do it, and he bungled the install. I had to have someone else replace it with the faucet pictured above! Good luck and enjoy your 22'. It's a great size and layout.
