Need help with electric tongue jack

Finally got the cover off the jack by hammering lightly around the base to break the paint &dirt seal. (as per the jack mfg. instructions). Replaced the limit switches and works ok now. One problem I ran into was the wiring for the front light & switch kept falling down from where I was trying to run the wires...wound up using hot melt glue to stiffen & cover the wires so they would stay up & away from the gears.
