leaking cold water bypass valve on water heater

I was dewinterizing my 2016 Bambi Sport today and discovered a leaking valve in the water heater bypass . I think it is the cold water valve. Can someone tell me how to remove the leaking valve and replace it with a new one? Any help would be greatly appreciated

A pic can help identify possible techniques.

If it's attached with PEX tubing, goo news you don't need to buy expensive PEX ring clamp tools. Alternative fittings exist, no tools or simple hand tools only.

Hello,
I have uploaded a photo of the bypass valves. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Hoping to be able to fix it myself.
Thanks.

Looks like decent access that’s a plus.

When you’re positive about source of leak, at least this is my approach.

A hacksaw blade can cut the copper clamps at each end of the pipe at a fitting. Carefully remove the valve and short sections of the pipe.

Take remains to hardware or home center as I need this but new.

Pipe should be PEX a short stick, new valve and now how to clamp.

I have a small survival kit of PEX and the Flairit by Pexlock clamps. These slide on the pipe and a simple channel lock pliers set the clamps. They are even reusable.
