Lead solder ?

Does anyone out there know,if 69 models use lead soder in the pluming ?
I am looking for a tail light .

You can get a kit to test for Lead in the solder, at Home Depot or Lowes or probably even Wal-mart, it is easy to use and cheap enough.

I would bet money on it being soldered with lead. That was still the norm then.

If lead is a concern, there is also a lot of lead in the copper itself which does leach out. In addition, all internal joints in old faucets are fused with lead solder.
