Install 9601 Moen filter

Help! We bought a new 9601 Moen Filter and can't get it to seat in the fitting in our 2007 Safari. Is there a trick to it?

You have to hold it straight and level, push in fairly firmly, and twist 120 degrees. There's no other trick. You can reach with one hand behind the filter head to hold it, if you have long arms and are fairly flexible, which will help.
