in the process of getting water system working

I bought a 175 Ambassador a few weeks ago and I am now in the process of getting everything to work. Put a convertor in the electricla part appears to be working now, so I have mode on to the water system.
The control panel shows three gauges 'water tank' and 'auxiliary holding tank' and 'main holding tank'.
After I put some water in the water tank and throwing the water pump switch, the pumpt starts (noisy) and it starts to pump water to the rear through a clear hose. It appears it is going to a tank in the rear.
Is there a valve that I need to close so that the pumpt stops running?

When you turn the pump on it tries to fill the all water lines and water heater. Make sure the water heater has the drain plug installed and the pressure relief valve is closed. Much of the noise you hear is the pump trying to compress the air in the lines. When I fill my lines I leave the bathroom sink faucets open untill water flows out. Then I go around and let the air out of every where else( shower, toilet and kitchen sink). The pump will then shut off. This takes a few minutes.

I replaced most of the copper piping, it was split in the back as well as messed with near the pump.
The pump still doesn't stop running.
I don't know if the PO opened up the drain on the waterheater. Where is it?

Here is a pic of the drain on your water heater. The plug is not there and you can see the water coming out on the bottom left. I think you would know if it were open.

I would be sure the holding tank is full and be patient...it takes a while to fill the waterheater and the rest of the lines. Do what AZ said to do and open all the lines one at a time to clear the lines of air.

Cap was on the drain, unfortunately.
Turned out to be a lot of water leaking from the waterheater.
Can anyone provide me with guidance on how to remove it? Is it worth it to repair, or should I just replace it?

Robert ~ If the tank itself is leaking, replace it. It could also leak at the relief valve or at the water in line or water out line. If you are going to replace the water heater it comes out from the outside of the trailer. Disconect the water lines, the propaneline and the wires. Remove the attaching hardware to the skin and pull it out. It is a tight fit and will not come out easily.
