First trip in 2018 Sport 22 and no hot water!

Our very first trip and no hot water. Both gas tanks are open and the stove top works fine, but we continue to get an ignition failure for the water heater after many attempts. I opened the hot water heater cover last night while my wife turn on the heater again and I didn’t see any spark, so the problem seems electrical in nature. Any suggestions for a newbie to try?
