We have a new-to-us 2012 Airstream International Serenity FB. We have many questions and are tackling things one at a time to get her ready to travel. One problem we have is with the bathroom faucet. When using it it overshoots the sink with even the SLIGHTEST turning on. We really have to ease it on to not overshoot the sink. There is no aerator piece in the faucet... should there be? We really like the faucet and we are not sure if it just is missing that piece or if it was just a bad choice on AS's part and we need to replace the whole thing. Not a big deal we are in our 60's and have replaced many faucets, but of course if it is an easy fix we would rather not replace the whole thing. Anyone have a 2012 Serenity that could look at the faucet opening? Thank you in advance for any advice!
Standard threaded aerators can be found in plumbing section of any home improvement store.

I would say you need an aerator. Its very possible you have a suitable part on your faucet in the house. See if you can remove the aerator from one of the faucets in your house to verify if that will help the rv faucet. I suspect as soon as you remove the aerator in the house you will recognize that it acts the same way as the one in the rv.
Thanks for all the replies. I have looked at the aerators in Home Depot but I wasn't sure if the faucet originally HAD one? There definitely isn't one there now. I will try one before we rip the whole thing out!
If your faucet is the original, it is an ITC Inc brand.
There is an expanded view of the faucet on page IV-51 in the parts manual for your trailer, which shows there should be an aerator. https://www.airstream.com/wp-content...tional2012.pdf
