I was not aware it was ever used from the factory.
Probably not the best material to use in a moving vehicle, However my 61 had been redone with CPVC so when I got it I continued with that theme, interspersed with the string reinforced flexible tubing in a couple spots and it has been trouble free for the 6 years i have used the trailer. The PO appeared to have heated the cpvc to work it around bends.
Cheap, readily available and easy to repair on the road.
I have a couple more trailers to re plumb and will probably invest in a PEX crimper and go that route but the CPVC has worked out better than I ever thought it would
