Can you calibrate a SeeLevel Monitor?
2016 25' FC - We have noticed that the percentage full shown on the monitor for the grey water tank appears to be inaccurate. It jumps from something like 25% to 50-55% after maybe 2-3 gallons are added, and then jumps to 80% with just a little more added. It's a 39 gallon tank, so every 25% should be just shy of 10 gallons. On our recent trip we let it to go 100% and kept using it for a little while longer and didn't see any backup issues.
I don't see how it could be dirty or anything like that since it's new, but I am wondering if there is any way to recalibrate it, or if anyone has other ideas. The black water tank monitor seems to be more accurate from what I can tell.

After retrofitting the SeeLevel 714 system to our 2014 Classic in 2015, it has taken awhile for the system to learn our tanks.
Putting a measured 3 gallons in the black (39 gallon) or gray (37 gallon) tanks shows we have 5% and then 10% in the tanks.
Our installer stuck the device to the lower part of the fresh water tank to make it more accurate as the water level decreased and put the black and grey high near the top of the tank to be more accurate as the tanks get close to capacity. When our fresh water tank shows full, we can put another five gallons or so in the tank.
We have only had one two day trip with the 23D, so it has yet to learn about the tanks.

In reply to both posts. The quality of the reading is dependent upon the installation positioning.

New Lucy's tank monitor system is better than Old Lucy's, but has its quirks. Now that we have over 200 nights in New Lucy, we have noticed several anomalies. When we fill her fresh water tank, the monitor reaches an indicated 100% about three or four minutes prior to overflow. When the gray tank level shows 100%, we can squeeze in another brief shower without backing up into the shower pan.
Although not perfect, the new monitor system seems to be more reliable that its predecessor.

I would check all the tanks for accuracy.
Purchase an inline water meter that connects to a hose.
Go to a full hookup RV park for a weekend trip. Drain all the tanks.
Fill up the fresh water tank at 10 gal intervals and see what the gauge states.
Use the black tank flush to fill up your black tank at 10 gallon intervals and check the panel.
Take the hose into the shower and fill the gray at 10 gal intervals and check the monitor.
Take your Airstream into your dealership for warranty.
To bad SeeLevel doesn't have a way or user calibration to tweek settings.

I did my own install and purposefully installed the sensors (12", trimmed to fit tank height) so that:
Fresh tank - shows full when it is full and empty with 6 gallons left. That allows the finish of a shower with no surprise.
Gray - show empty when truly empty and full when there is room for about 5 gallons more, to prevent those unexpected overflows.
Black - same as gray.
It has been flawless thus far.
This level of accuracy of install is less than likely with a factory install, as it takes some time and effort to get it the way you want it.

Only adjustment/calibration is to move the sender tapes up and down. My Fresh Water has always been dead accurate based on my refill with an inline water meter just so I know what I use on a trip. And I rarely do hookups so 99% pull from the onboard tanks. Grey was repositioned at the factory last fall and was setup to be more accurate as the tank got fuller, less accurate when closer to empty. Shows full with about 7 gals left. For some reason not as accurate as the fresh water.
Black I didn't have them check nor have I tried to simply fill it with water. Maybe sometime in the future when I am at a CG with full hookups and spare time I'll check it.

Mine are very linear. It could that your senders are delaminating from the tanks. If so things will only get worse. Take it in for a warrenty review.
