Camco Antifreeze Bypass Kit

My fresh water tank is empty and the Camco valve is connected properly. Do I need to have water in fresh tank in order for this to work, or will it work with empty fresh tank?
Thanks . . .

No water needed in fresh tank. Just set the Camco kit bypass valve to suck from the clear hose inserted into the antifreeze bottle, and you are good to go...
