Auto shutoff valve

Many intelligent people shut off the water at the spigot every time they leave their trailer. I once entered the trailer just as the shower overflowed onto the floor due to a dripping faucet that had gone on for.about 12 hours. I want to shut off the water, but I hate realizing that I forgot to turn it back on as I step into the shower...and have to get dressed again, and it is dark out.

I want a gizmo that I am not sure exists, something that I can use to turn the water off and on at the spigot without leaving the trailer. Am I dreaming or does something like this exist?

I just cleaned and drained my white water tank and filled it with water adding 2 cups of Calgon. That should be handy if the city water is off, but then I will still need to remember to turn the pump off, refill the white tank, etc. I do have a splitter so I can run more than one hose for the trailer. ( I drink bottled water)

Ideas please. Paula

Cool idea. I'm too lazy/forgetful to turn my water off when I leave.

Maybe something like this:
https://bhyve.orbitonline.com/hosefaucet/
or
https://zilker.co/

These are targeted as smart lawn sprinkler timers. I haven't looked at them in detail. I wonder if they are lead-free and human-consumption friendly. But if you don't drink it.....
