Another SeeLevel issue

I read as many posts on this subject as I could find. Most deal with older micropulse and float sensors, which isn't relevant for the newer ultrasonic SeeLevel systems.

I have a 2024 Classic with problems: Fresh water level is 0%. I start filling the tank and, literally 15 seconds into it, the reading is at 100%. So I give it a little time, but it stays at 100%. Then I run some water with the pump and the pump runs dry after a short time, because there is hardly any water in the tank. Now it reads 22.4%. I add a little water to the tank and now it reads even lower, like 10%. And this craziness goes on and on.

Same with the grey tank. All over the place. I can literally be watching it with nothing going on in the RV and it jumps from 44.4% to 95% randomly and then back to 44.4% a few minutes later and then back to 95%. No rhythm or reason.

Ironically, the black tank is fine, basically shows levels as expected and is generally consistent. So this isn't a 'toilet paper stuck to the sides' kind of issue here.

I looked from every direction under the RV to find the strips glued onto the sides of the tank. Nothing. It's just plain metal boxes.

I wish water softener and dish soap would solve this problem, but I don't think that will help with SeeLevel sensors.

Anyone have any other suggestions before I have to make the dreaded call to Airstream, who will undoubtedly tell me to take it in for warranty service...and then I'll see it again in 6 months (if I'm lucky).

Is yours a SeeLevel II Model 709-P3? When we first received our trailer I tried to grab as much info on the systems as possible. There might be some tidbits in the manual regarding the programming that might lead you to a solution or at least you could have a more educated conversation with the factory. I'll admit my eyes sort of glaze over when I read Chpt 4: Display Calibration and Chpt 5: Sender Programming.

Best of luck! Steve

Thanks, mine is similar to this but without the pump switch. Mine is connected to the CZone, which is a Classic thing you don't have on the Flying Cloud. I don't see any error codes, so I don't think it's a wiring issue or similar. I also can't access the strips glued to the tanks, as that is behind a metal enclosure in the underbelly.
