I finished the cabinet hardware installation and hung a mirror in the bath. Then I hitched it up and pulled it out of the shop.
We are going Airstream traveling for the next three weeks or so. The Globe Trotter was in the way, so I kicked it out. I'm not done with the thing, but like we say here, you are never done with a vintage Airstream. It can sit outside for that time and I'll finish it up this summer.
I did add fresh water to the tank and test the pump and eyeballed the plumbing for leaks. The new faucets and new toilet worked as advertised and no water dripping on the floor or under the trailer. Yea! Then I drained and blew the water back out of the trailer. But it is May, winter is over, right? We don't see below freezing temps in the longer forecast.
